🔍 Trending Search TopicsHere are the skincare and beauty topics seeing a noticeable rise in search volume this week. These trends highlight what’s gaining traction and clicks across the industry, great for shaping your social posts, blog content, or newsletter angles.
Oily Skin +70%
Facial Post Idea: "Oily Skin Is Not a Flaw, It Is a Skin Type That Needs the Right Strategy"
Explain that oily skin is largely genetic and is often mismanaged by stripping products that trigger even more oil production as a rebound response. Share that the goal is balance, not elimination, and that lightweight hydration, barrier support, and targeted ingredients like niacinamide work with oily skin rather than against it. Clarify that what looks like an oil problem is often a dehydration problem in disguise.
💬 CTA: "Dealing with shine that never lets up? Come in and let's look at what your skin actually needs versus what you think it needs."
Waxer Post Idea: "Oily Skin and Waxing: What You Should Know Before Your Appointment"
Share that oily skin can affect wax adhesion, particularly in areas like the upper lip or bikini line where excess sebum can create a barrier. Explain that a proper pre-wax cleanse makes a real difference and that heavy moisturizers applied before an appointment can work against the service. Remind clients to flag any active breakouts so the service can be adapted appropriately.
💬 CTA: "Oily skin in certain areas? Let me know before we start so I can prep your skin properly and get the best possible result."
Best Prime Day Skincare Deals +3200%
Facial Post Idea: "Prime Day Skincare Is Trending: Here Is How to Shop It Without Wasting Money"
Explain that a sale price on the wrong product is still a waste and that Prime Day skincare hauls often lead to bathroom shelves full of things that never get used or worse, cause reactions. Share that the best use of a sale is stocking up on products already in a working routine rather than experimenting with new ones just because they are discounted. Remind clients that a professional recommendation before a big shop can save them far more than any discount.
💬 CTA: "Before you add to cart, come in or send me a message. I will tell you exactly what is worth buying and what to skip."
Waxer Post Idea: "Prime Day Is a Great Time to Stock Up on Waxing Aftercare: Here Is What to Look For"
Share that Prime Day can be a good opportunity to restock tried-and-true aftercare products like gentle exfoliants, fragrance-free body moisturizers, and ingrown treatments. Remind clients to stick to what they know works for their skin rather than experimenting with new formulas on freshly waxed skin. Caution against anything with fragrance, alcohol, or heavy oils in the immediate days after a wax.
💬 CTA: "Not sure what aftercare products are actually worth buying? Ask me at your next appointment and I will give you a short, honest list."
How to Start a Skincare Routine +1200%
Facial Post Idea: "How to Start a Skincare Routine the Right Way"
Share that the most common mistake people make when starting a routine is doing too much at once, introducing multiple new products in the same week makes it impossible to know what is working or causing a reaction. Explain that a solid starting point is cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF, and that everything else builds from there once the basics are consistent. Emphasize that a routine built around someone's specific skin type and concerns will always outperform a generic one from a list online.
💬 CTA: "Ready to start a routine that actually makes sense for your skin? Book a skin analysis and I will build one with you from scratch."
Waxer Post Idea: "Starting a Skincare Routine? Here Is What Waxing Clients Should Include"
Explain that waxing clients have specific skincare needs that a general routine does not always account for, including regular exfoliation, consistent hydration, and targeted ingrown prevention in waxed areas. Share that the timing of when to exfoliate matters just as much as doing it at all, and that starting too soon after a wax can cause irritation. Encourage clients to ask for a simple, personalized body care routine at their next appointment.
💬 CTA: "Want a body care routine that supports your waxing results? I will put one together for you at your next visit."
Best Skincare for Oily Skin +70%
Facial Post Idea: "The Best Skincare for Oily Skin Is Probably Not What You Think"
Share that most products marketed for oily skin are built around stripping and mattifying, which can actually make the problem worse over time by triggering rebound oil production. Explain that lightweight hydration is non-negotiable even for oily skin, and that ingredients like niacinamide, salicylic acid used correctly, and gentle AHAs tend to work well without disrupting the barrier. Remind clients that oily skin often needs professional guidance because what works for one person can backfire completely for another.
💬 CTA: "Struggling with products that promise to fix your oily skin but never quite do? Come in and let me look at what is actually going on."
Waxer Post Idea: "Oily Skin Between Wax Appointments: What to Use and What to Avoid"
Explain that oily or acne-prone skin in waxed areas needs a slightly different approach to aftercare and that heavy, occlusive products are not the right fit. Share that lightweight, non-comedogenic options work best and that regular gentle exfoliation keeps follicles clear between appointments. Remind clients that anything too stripping can also backfire by triggering more oil production and more sensitivity at the next wax.
💬 CTA: "Not sure what to use on your skin between appointments? Send me a message and I will help you put together something simple that works."
Korean Skincare for Oily Skin +120%
Facial Post Idea: "Why Korean Skincare Works So Well for Oily Skin and What to Borrow From It"
Explain that Korean skincare philosophy tends to focus on hydration and barrier health rather than stripping, which is exactly what oily skin often needs but rarely gets from mainstream Western products. Share that lightweight essences, gel moisturizers, and low-pH cleansers are staples of the K-beauty approach that translate really well to oily and combination skin types. Remind clients that layering multiple lightweight products is very different from piling on heavy ones and that a professional can help figure out which steps are worth adding.
💬 CTA: "Curious about which K-beauty principles would actually work for your skin? Bring your current routine and let's talk through it together."
Waxer Post Idea: "Korean Skincare Trends and Waxing: What Clients Should Know"
Share that the K-beauty trend toward skin barrier preservation and gentle formulations is actually great news for waxing clients, since barrier health directly affects how skin responds to waxing and recovers afterward. Explain that some popular K-beauty actives like AHAs, BHAs, and retinol equivalents still require the same timing caution before a wax as their Western counterparts. Encourage clients who are building out a K-beauty routine to mention any new products before their next appointment.
💬 CTA: "Trying new skincare and not sure how it affects your wax? Let me know before your appointment and I will make sure we approach it safely."

1. The Biggest Collagen Study Yet Reveals What Actually Works
📖 ScienceDaily / Anglia Ruskin University Use For: Ingredient education, supplement guidance, retail positioning, anti-aging authority.
Facial Post Idea: "The Largest Collagen Study Ever Just Came Out and Here Is What It Actually Found"
A major review covering nearly 8,000 participants found that collagen supplementation can produce measurable improvements in skin hydration and elasticity, particularly when taken consistently over longer periods. Share that the same research found little evidence that collagen boosts athletic performance or speeds recovery, which challenges a lot of the marketing claims out there. Explain that collagen works best as a long-term, consistent addition rather than a quick fix, and that topical skincare supporting collagen production is a complementary piece of the picture.
💬 CTA: "Want to know which collagen-supporting ingredients are worth adding to your routine? Come in and let's look at what your skin actually needs."
Waxer Post Idea: "Collagen and Skin Health: What Waxing Clients Should Know"
Research suggests collagen supplementation may support skin elasticity and hydration over time, which matters for waxing clients because skin that is well-hydrated and structurally supported tends to respond better to waxing and recover more smoothly. Share that topical hydration and barrier support between appointments contributes to this same goal. Remind clients that consistent homecare is what bridges the gap between appointments and keeps results improving over time.
💬 CTA: "Want skin that holds up better between wax appointments? I will put together a simple routine that supports your results from the inside out."
2. Social Media Mythbusters: Overnight Sheet Masks 📖 Dermatology Times Use For: Trend debunking, client education, authority content, barrier care.
Facial Post Idea: "Overnight Sheet Masks Are Going Viral But Here Is What Dermatologists Actually Say"
The article examines the trending practice of sleeping in sheet masks, which has gained significant traction on social media. Share that while the intention behind overnight masking is hydration and barrier support, leaving a mask on for hours can actually create a sealed, occlusive environment that may not suit all skin types, particularly those prone to breakouts or sensitivity. Explain that how long a product sits on the skin and what is in it matters far more than the dramatic before-and-after content making it look like a miracle.
💬 CTA: "Tried a viral skincare trend and not sure if it is actually right for your skin? Come in and let's figure out what your skin responds to."
Waxer Post Idea: "Viral Skincare Trends and Waxing: Why What Goes on Your Skin Matters"
Share that clients who are experimenting with new skincare trends, including overnight masks or occlusive treatments, should let their waxer know before their appointment. Explain that anything that significantly changes the skin barrier or introduces new ingredients can affect how skin responds to waxing. Encourage open communication about any new products or routines so the service can be adapted and skin can be protected.
💬 CTA: "Trying something new in your skincare routine? Flag it before your next wax and I will make sure your skin is prepped properly."
3. The 7 Hottest Beauty and Wellness Trends at Be+Well Las Vegas 📖 American Spa Use For: Industry awareness, trend authority, service and retail positioning, forward-facing education.
Facial Post Idea: "The Biggest Trends Coming Out of the Industry's Largest Beauty and Wellness Show"
The Be+Well Beauty and Wellness Show in Las Vegas highlighted several emerging trends including peptides, exosomes, and PDRN as the buzziest skincare actives on the show floor, with peptides stimulating collagen and elastin production, exosomes supporting skin repair and regeneration, and PDRN improving elasticity and hydration. Share that these are ingredients worth understanding because they are showing up in more professional treatments and retail products, and that knowing what they do helps clients make smarter decisions. The show also spotlighted a significant growth in body skincare, with brands meeting increasing consumer interest in head-to-toe ingredient-focused routines that go beyond the face.
💬 CTA: "Curious about what is coming next in professional skincare and how it applies to your goals? Let's talk about it at your next appointment."
Waxer Post Idea: "What the Beauty Industry's Biggest Show Says About Where Skincare Is Heading"
One of the clearest themes at the Be+Well show was the growing demand for body skincare, with brands launching premium ingredient-driven products specifically targeting concerns like uneven tone, aging, and changes in skin laxity. Share that this shift toward treating the body with the same care as the face is great news for waxing clients who want smooth, healthy skin from head to toe. Remind clients that consistent waxing combined with a proper body care routine creates results that just getting waxed alone cannot achieve.
💬 CTA: "Ready to treat your body skin the way you treat your face? Ask me at your next appointment and I will help you build a simple routine that actually works."
Trending Reel Ideas for the Week of July 6
Before you dive in, just 2 quick tips:
In the examples below, when I say "title text pop-up," I’m referring to the text that stays on screen for the entire duration of your Reel or TikTok. It should be placed near the upper center of the screen.
When filming, it’s important to leave adequate negative (empty) space for text pop-ups. That usually means you’ll need to stand further away from the camera than you think. Trust me, I get it, I struggle with this too! But by creating that extra space, your pop-up text won’t cut off anyone’s face, and the overall video will look much cleaner.
If you are on mobile and are having trouble playing the examples, click the Instagram icon beside "add a comment” to watch on Instagram.
You’ve got 7 seconds for an update 😂🗣️
Film yourself sitting in your treatment room or at your station looking at the camera like someone just walked in. The audio counts down three, two, one, go and then someone starts talking at full speed. You play the role of the esthetician or waxer listening intently while your client (off camera) catches you up on two months of life. Let your facial expressions do the work.
Esthetician title text pop-up: When my client hasn't been in for two months and has to update me on everything that's happened before we can even start the facial.
Esthetician caption: The treatment room is a judgment-free zone and apparently also a confessional, a therapy session, and a news briefing all in one. I would not have it any other way. Two months of life updates, coming right up. Book in so I can catch up on yours. 🤍
Waxer title text pop-up: When my client hasn't been in for two months and has two months worth of life to fill me in on before I even get the wax warm.
Waxer caption: I am not just your wax tech. I am your most reliable, consistently available, never-too-busy-to-listen person. Two months between appointments means I need at least twenty minutes of updates before we even get started. Book in and bring the tea.
Oh My God! 😱✨
Set up your phone or an iPad playing the iconic "OH MY GOD" moment from Friends Season 8, Episode 2, "The One with the Red Sweater," in the background. Film one continuous clip. When the first OH MY GOD hits, your hero product is already sitting in front of the screen. When the second OH MY GOD hits, the second product appears next to it. This is great for revealing a product and then a partnered produc that helps it work its best.
Esthetician title text pop-up: The serum that transforms your skin on its own + the moisturizer that makes it work even harder.
Esthetician caption: Good products are great. The right products working together are a whole different story. These two together are what I keep recommending to clients who want to actually see a difference in their skin this summer. Want to know if they are right for your routine? Ask me at your next appointment and I will tell you exactly what to layer and why. 🤍
Waxer title text pop-up: The ingrown treatment that changes everything on its own. OH MY GOD. The exfoliator that makes it even more effective. OH MY GOD.
Waxer caption: One product can make a real difference. Two products working together can completely change your between-appointment results. These are the two I recommend most to clients who are serious about smooth skin that actually stays that way. Ask me at your next visit and I will walk you through exactly how to use them together.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You 🙏✨
This sound is as simple as it gets and that is exactly why it works. Use a b-roll clip of your client during a treatment, a serum being applied, a massage moment, a mask going on, anything that looks and feels luxurious. Let the audio play underneath and keep the title text pop-up on screen the whole time. No talking required.
Esthetician title text pop-up: How your skin sounds after I layer on the [insert add-on serum or hydration booster].
Esthetician caption: Your skin has been waiting for this. The moment the right product hits a dehydrated, stressed, or barrier-compromised complexion you can almost feel it exhale. This is what I love about add-ons. They are not just extras. They are the thing that takes a great facial and makes it something your skin genuinely remembers. Ask me which one is right for you at your next appointment. 🤍
Waxer title text pop-up: How your skin sounds after I apply the [insert post-wax soothing serum or calming treatment].
Waxer caption: Freshly waxed skin is doing a lot. The right product applied right after is what helps it settle, calm, and stay smooth for longer. This is not just a finishing step. It is the step that actually protects your results. Ask me what I am using on your skin and why it earned a permanent spot in your appointment.

🔍 Trending Search TopicsHere are the skincare and beauty topics seeing a noticeable rise in search volume this week. These trends highlight what’s gaining traction and clicks across the industry, great for shaping your social posts, blog content, or newsletter angles.
Farrow Skincare +1100%
Facial Post Idea: "Farrow Skincare Is Trending: Here Is What to Know Before You Try It"
When a brand spikes this dramatically in search, it is usually driven by social media buzz rather than clinical evidence, and popularity does not equal suitability for every skin type. Share how to evaluate any new brand by looking at ingredient quality, formulation integrity, and whether it supports the barrier or disrupts it. Remind clients that a trending product may work beautifully for one person and cause a reaction in another, which is why personalized guidance matters.
💬 CTA: "Curious whether Farrow is a good fit for your skin? Bring it to your next appointment and I will take a look at the formulation with you."
Waxer Post Idea: "What Trending Skincare Brands Mean for Your Waxing Clients"
Many trending skincare products contain actives like exfoliating acids or retinoids that can make the skin more sensitive before a wax. Remind clients that new products should always be introduced carefully and that starting something new right before an appointment is not ideal. Encourage open communication so that product changes can be factored into how the service is performed.
💬 CTA: "Changed up your skincare recently? Let me know before your next wax so I can adjust my approach and keep your skin protected."
DIY Skincare +160%
Facial Post Idea: "DIY Skincare Is Having a Moment: Here Is What Is Worth Doing at Home and What Is Not"
Acknowledge the appeal of DIY skincare and that some simple approaches like a gentle cleanse or a basic hydration routine are perfectly reasonable at home. Explain where DIY crosses into risky territory, particularly with kitchen ingredients like lemon juice, baking soda, or raw honey on compromised skin, which can disrupt pH and damage the barrier. Share that the best home routines are simple, consistent, and ideally guided by a professional who knows the skin.
💬 CTA: "Want a simple at-home routine that actually works with your skin? Book a consultation and I will build one with you."
Waxer Post Idea: "DIY Waxing Is Trending Too: What Clients Need to Know Before They Try It at Home"
DIY waxing kits have improved but still carry real risks including burns, broken hair, ingrown spikes, and skin lifting, especially when clients are using actives or have skin sensitivities they may not be aware of. Explain that professional waxing is not just about removing hair but about doing it in a way that protects the skin barrier and minimizes trauma. Highlight the value of technique, temperature control, and product knowledge that comes with professional training.
💬 CTA: "Thinking about trying DIY waxing at home? Come in first so I can show you what your skin actually needs and what to avoid."
Dollar Tree Skincare +150%
Facial Post Idea: "Dollar Tree Skincare Is Going Viral: Here Is an Honest Take"
Affordable skincare is not automatically bad and some budget-friendly products contain solid ingredients that work well for basic needs like gentle cleansing or light hydration. Explain that price does not always reflect quality but that formulation stability, ingredient concentration, and preservation do matter, and those details are harder to assess in very low-cost products. Encourage clients to think about where they invest in their routine versus where they can save, and to get professional guidance on which steps are most worth the spend.
💬 CTA: "Not sure which parts of your routine are worth investing in? Come in and I will help you prioritize what will actually move the needle for your skin."
Waxer Post Idea: "Budget Skincare and Waxing: What to Use, What to Skip, and What to Ask Your Waxer"
The pre and post wax care routine does not have to be expensive but it does need to be appropriate for recently waxed skin. Some budget products contain fragrances, alcohols, or comedogenic ingredients that can cause irritation or congestion on freshly waxed areas. Share simple and affordable options that are genuinely skin-safe after a wax, and remind clients that getting this part right makes a real difference in their results.
💬 CTA: "Not sure what to use on your skin after your wax? I will put together a simple routine that works with any budget."
Skincare for Men +140%
Facial Post Idea: "Skincare for Men Is Trending and the Skin Does Not Actually Care What Gender You Are"
Men's skin has some unique characteristics including increased sebum production, larger pore size on average, and the effects of regular shaving, but the fundamentals of skin health are the same across the board. Share that many men are coming to skincare late and starting with too many products at once, when a simple and consistent approach actually delivers the best results. Highlight that professional guidance helps cut through the noise and create a routine that fits into a real lifestyle.
💬 CTA: "Know a man who is finally ready to take care of his skin? Send him my way. Facials are for everyone and I will keep it straightforward."
Waxer Post Idea: "Male Waxing Is Growing and So Are the Questions Around It"
Male waxing has grown significantly and with it comes a new wave of first-time clients who are not sure what to expect or how to prepare. Share the basics around preparation, what to expect during the service, and why aftercare is especially important for men who may not have an existing skincare routine. Normalize the conversation and position yourself as a knowledgeable and welcoming provider.
💬 CTA: "Thinking about booking your first wax? Message me and I will walk you through exactly what to expect before you come in."
Best Skincare Products +140%
Facial Post Idea: "Everyone Is Searching for the Best Skincare Products: Here Is Why That Question Needs a Different Answer"
The best skincare products are not a universal list because they depend entirely on skin type, concern, lifestyle, and what else is already in the routine. Share that the most common mistake clients make is building a routine around what worked for someone else, a celebrity, an influencer, or a friend, rather than what their own skin actually needs. Explain that a professional skin analysis is the most efficient way to cut through the overwhelm and invest in the right things.
💬 CTA: "Ready to stop guessing and start using products that are actually right for your skin? Book a skin analysis and let's figure it out together."
Waxer Post Idea: "The Best Skincare Products for Waxing Clients Are Not Always What You Think"
When clients ask about the best skincare products, they are often thinking about their face, but the skin on the body needs just as much attention especially in the areas that get waxed regularly. Share the product categories that matter most for waxing clients including a gentle exfoliant, a hydrating body moisturizer, and a targeted ingrown treatment, and explain what to look for in each. Remind clients that consistency with these basics makes every appointment better.
💬 CTA: "Want to know exactly what your waxed skin needs between appointments? I will put together a simple product list tailored to you."

1. Preservatives: The Villain in the Bottle 📖 Dermatology Times Use For: Ingredient education, formulation awareness, retail guidance, client trust.
Facial Post Idea: "Why Preservatives in Skincare Are Not the Enemy"
Preservatives exist in skincare for an important reason: to prevent the growth of bacteria, mold, and yeast in water-based formulas that could genuinely harm the skin. Share that the push toward preservative-free products sounds appealing but can actually create safety risks, particularly in products that sit in warm bathrooms for weeks or months. Explain that newer preservation systems have improved significantly and that the goal in formulation is finding the right preservative at the right concentration, not eliminating them entirely.
💬 CTA: "Have questions about the ingredients in your current products? Bring them in and I will help you understand what is actually in your routine."
Waxer Post Idea: "Preservatives in Pre and Post Wax Products: What Waxing Clients Should Know"
Explain that the products used before and after a wax, including pre-wax sprays, soothing serums, and aftercare lotions, all require proper preservation to remain safe and effective. Share that some clients with reactive skin may respond to certain preservatives, which is worth flagging before a service, but that avoiding preservatives altogether is not the solution. Encourage clients to choose professionally formulated products rather than unpreserved DIY alternatives for post-wax care.
💬 CTA: "Not sure if your aftercare products are safe and effective? Ask me at your next appointment and I will point you in the right direction."
2. Clinique's Daily Calm Merges Clinical Efficacy with Color Cosmetics for Sensitive Skin 📖 Dermatology Times Use For: Sensitive skin education, barrier support, retail positioning, makeup and skincare crossover.
Facial Post Idea: "When Skincare and Makeup Work Together: What the Sensitive Skin Client Needs to Know"
The conversation around skincare and makeup has shifted, with more brands now developing products that serve both a cosmetic and a skin health function, particularly for reactive and sensitive skin types. Share that barrier-supporting ingredients like soothing peptides, ceramides, and anti-inflammatory actives can be formulated into color products without compromising skin health, and that this matters for clients who wear makeup daily. Remind clients that if their foundation or concealer is causing irritation or congestion, it is worth looking at not just what they are putting on their skin but what is in it.
💬 CTA: "Dealing with redness, reactivity, or makeup that seems to make your skin worse? Come in and let's look at the full picture together."
Waxer Post Idea: "Sensitive Skin and Makeup: What Waxing Clients Should Know About Wearing Product on Freshly Waxed Skin"
After a wax the skin barrier is temporarily more vulnerable, which means that makeup applied to freshly waxed areas can introduce irritants, bacteria, or pore-clogging ingredients at exactly the wrong time. Share the general guideline of waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to waxed skin, particularly on the face. Highlight that choosing skin-supportive formulas with barrier-friendly ingredients makes a real difference for clients who cannot avoid wearing makeup after their appointment.
💬 CTA: "Not sure what is safe to put on your skin after a wax? I will walk you through your post-appointment routine at your next visit."
3. Can Diabetes and Obesity Drugs Also Help the Skin? The Potential of GLP-1 Agonists in Dermatology 📖 Wroclaw Medical University / Pharmaceutics Journal Use For: Client education, GLP-1 awareness, inflammation and skin health, holistic skin approach.
Facial Post Idea: "GLP-1 Medications and Your Skin: What the Latest Research Is Starting to Show"
GLP-1 receptor agonists, the class of medications that includes drugs like semaglutide, were developed to manage type 2 diabetes and obesity, but emerging research suggests they may also influence inflammatory skin conditions including psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. Share that researchers believe this is linked to the discovery that GLP-1 receptors are found on immune cells, meaning these drugs may directly reduce the kind of chronic inflammation that drives many skin diseases. This research is still early and these medications are not a replacement for established dermatological treatments, but it highlights the increasingly recognized connection between metabolic health and skin health.
💬 CTA: "Taking a GLP-1 medication or curious how your overall health affects your skin? Come in and let's talk about what your skin might need right now."
Waxer Post Idea: "GLP-1 Medications Are Becoming More Common: Here Is What Waxing Clients on These Drugs Should Know"
An increasing number of clients are taking GLP-1 medications for weight management or metabolic health, and some early research suggests these drugs may affect skin inflammation and tissue healing. Share that clients on these medications may notice changes in their skin, including shifts in texture, sensitivity, or how their skin responds after a wax. Encourage open communication about any medications clients are taking so that the service can be adapted accordingly.
💬 CTA: "On a new medication or noticing changes in your skin? Let me know before your appointment so I can take the best possible care of you."

So What's Your Vision For This Room? 🛁✨
This trend uses a clean, aesthetic shot of an empty tray or shelf with the audio playing underneath. Someone asks what the vision is for the space, and the answer is simply: to fill it. Film a straight-on shot of your marble tray, wax station, or treatment cart/tray, empty first, then cut to it fully stocked with product as you add it, tools, or a client's take-home lineup. The before-and-after reveal sets the context.
Esthetician title text pop-up: So what's your vision for this treatment room? To fill it. • Barrier repair serum ✓ • Brightening moisturizer ✓ • SPF ✓ • Retinol (when they're ready) ✓ • A routine they'll actually stick to ✓
Esthetician caption: We don't just send you home with products. We send you home with a plan. Every recommendation is chosen based on your skin, your lifestyle, and your goals because a shelf full of the right things changes everything. This is what a custom skincare routine looks like for my client {insert client name}. Click the link in bio to find out yours.
Waxer title text pop-up: So what's your vision for this wax tray? To fill it. • Hard wax ✓ • Pre-wax oil ✓ • Soothing post-wax serum ✓ • Ingrown treatment ✓ • Everything your skin needs ✓
Waxer caption: A fully prepped wax station isn't just aesthetics. It's a signal that your appointment was thought about before you even walked in. Every product on this tray has a purpose, and so does every step of your service. This is what intentional waxing looks like.

When I Get the Best Idea for a Client's Treatment Plan😅🎙️
This one is a lip sync sound.
Esthetician title text pop-up: When I get the best idea for a client's treatment plan but I have no pen or paper and have to open the voice note.
Esthetician caption: The amount of voice notes on my phone that start with "okay so hear me out" is actually embarrassing. Treatment planning is a whole creative process and inspiration does not wait for you to find a pen. If you have ever been my client, just know I have probably sent myself a frantic voice memo about your skin at some point.

Waxer caption: The voice notes app on my phone is basically a second client file at this point. Sometimes the best aftercare plan or ingrown solution comes to me mid-drive and I am not letting that thought go. Your skin is always on my mind, even when I am off the clock.
Trending Reel Ideas for the Week of June 22
Before you dive in, just 2 quick tips:
In the examples below, when I say "title text pop-up," I’m referring to the text that stays on screen for the entire duration of your Reel or TikTok. It should be placed near the upper center of the screen.
When filming, it’s important to leave adequate negative (empty) space for text pop-ups. That usually means you’ll need to stand further away from the camera than you think. Trust me, I get it, I struggle with this too! But by creating that extra space, your pop-up text won’t cut off anyone’s face, and the overall video will look much cleaner.

She Looks Just Like a Dream ✨
This audio is perfect for a before-and-after or end-of-treatment reveal. Film a close-up of your client's skin post-facial or post-service. Let the audio play over the reveal moment and set the context. You can do a slow zoom in, a gentle pan across the skin, or a simple cut from start to finish. The music does the emotional heavy lifting, keep the visual clean and let the results speak!!
Esthetician title text pop-up: She walked in with congestion, dullness, and stressed skin. She's leaving with a glow she forgot she had. That's what a facial actually does.
Esthetician caption: This is what happens when you stop masking the skin and start actually treating it. One session won't fix everything, but it will remind your skin what it's capable of. Post-facial glow hits different when the work behind it is real. Book your next appointment and let's get you there. ✨
Waxer title text pop-up: She came in for a wax. She's leaving smooth, confident, and already rebooked. Results you can actually see, and feel.
Waxer caption: There's something about post-wax skin that just hits different. Smooth, clean, and glowing, because yes, waxing done right leaves the skin looking this good. Proper technique, quality products, and a little consistency go a long way. Come see what your skin looks like when it's taken care of properly. 🙌
What I Actually Tell My Clients When Summer Hits ☀️
Film yourself in your treatment room, at your desk, or doing something calm and professional like reviewing a client file or setting up your space. Keep it simple B-Roll. For the sake of space, I'm not going to put a gap between each listed point.
Esthetician title text pop-up: Honest things I wish more of my clients knew before summer halts their skin progress.
Esthetician caption: Summer is the season where six months of skin progress can quietly unravel if nobody tells you what to change. So consider this your reminder. 1. SPF in the morning is not the same as SPF all day. If you are outside, you need to reapply every two hours. 2. Your nighttime actives need to be dialed back when your skin is taking on more UV stress. Retinol and strong exfoliants on sun-exposed skin causes more sensitivity than results. 3. Vitamin C in the morning is not optional in summer. It is your defense layer before sunscreen even goes on. 4. A wide brim hat will do more for your long-term skin than almost any product I could sell you. 5. Book your facial before a holiday, not after. Post-sun skin needs a gentler approach and more time to recover. 6. Your skin is making decisions in summer that will show up on your face in your forties. Let's stay ahead of it. 🧴✨
Waxer title text pop-up: Real things I tell clients so summer does not completely undo their skin between appointments.
Waxer caption: Nobody warns you about what summer actually does to freshly waxed skin, so here it is straight. 1. Wax day and sun exposure do not mix. Your skin has no protective barrier right after a wax and it will burn faster and react harder than usual. 2. Sweat is not your friend post-wax. Heat, friction, and moisture sitting on open follicles is how irritation and ingrowns start. 3. Exfoliation matters more in summer, not less. Sunscreen residue and sweat build up on the skin and block the follicle. Gentle exfoliation two to three times a week keeps things clear. 4. Fragrance in your aftercare lotion plus heat equals inflammation. Switch to something simple and fragrance-free in the warmer months. 5. If you are shaving between appointments because you are in a swimsuit every weekend, your waxing results will keep getting harder to maintain. Consistency is everything. 6. Your waxer cannot fix in one appointment what inconsistency creates all season. Book regularly and your skin will thank you. 🙌☀️
