Common Questions Answered

Hey everyone! Going to answer some common questions I get here!

  • Slow seasons happen to every business, and it’s tough to rely on social posts alone to turn things around quickly. That’s why planning ahead for these times is key. Take note of your annual slow slumps and think about what types of promos you can launch right before those slower periods to keep purchases up also, consider packages and memberships. These types of products can help you stretch revenue out.

When you are in a slump, your best move is to focus on the people who already know you: your email list, current clients, and past buyers. These are the warmest leads and the most likely to rebook or purchase when you need it most.

Instead of discounting your services, try offers that boost retail sales while still filling your calendar, such as:

    • Gift-with-purchase promos: A mini {INSERT PRODUCT} sample when they spend $50+ on retail.

    • Retail bundles: Pair your best-selling cleanser + moisturizer into a seasonal kit.

    • Treatment add-ons: A complimentary lip or eye mask when they rebook their facial this week.

    • Exclusive product drops: Share a “members only” email about a limited retail item.

Think of your posts as steady visibility, but lean heavily into direct outreach and nurturing your existing community, that’s where you’ll see the fastest results.

  • I teach you to create communities where there is an equal flow of your followers engaging with you vs you engaging with them.

So I fall into the quality > quantity category. A healthy mix includes Google My Business, Instagram and Facebook page. With Instagram and Facebook being so linked you can easily schedule your content for Instagram to go out on your Facebook page as well. I use Meta Business Suite which is Facebooks free scheduling tool to do this. You can also now schedule through the Instagram app which is key if you want to add music to your carousels and graphics.

  • You need to train your audience to like, share, comment, and eventually, to book and buy.

Step 1: Create and schedule your feed content. Make sure you’re mixing in community-building posts, “reply to comment with Reel” Reels, and plenty of captions with question-style CTAs.

Step 2: Once your feed content is set, you’ll free up more time to actually engage. That means replying to comments and using story stickers to spark interaction. The content calendar inside the Template Library gives you a story prompt for every day of the week. Not every story will include an engagement sticker, but if you post three slides, aim for at least one with a prompt.

Pro Tip: Always reply to answers via DM. Don’t jump into selling, just respond naturally to what they shared. It’s about building the habit of conversation first.

    • On your feed

    • Create a dedicated story highlight

    • Add to your link in bio

    • Create a blog post announcing the freebie

    • Add to your footer section of your website.

  • When you can afford $200-$300 a month in ad spend for FB/Instagram ads. Paid ads are a great way to get your hot content ie. fomo, client A-B content and seasonal offerings in front of the right people.

It’s also great for building your email list.
