A new way to use your email templates ✉️

I’m excited to share an update to the ECC and WCC emailers! You can now customize the full email design in Canva, then add it to a compatible email platform using Canva’s HTML export. That means less time rebuilding the layout after you’ve chosen your images, updated the copy and made it your own. It is so easy; even I found it easy, and I dislike anything code-related. All you have to do is copy the HTML code blurb Canva will give you and paste it into your emailer design page. It is so, so easy.

Previously, I shared email copy and occasional design elements separately because I didn’t want you to download an entire email as one large image. An image-only email can cause display and deliverability problems. If your email is one big image it can often get marked as spam and go right into the receiver’s spam or junk folder.

With Canva’s email HTML, your written copy can remain text alongside the images in your design, instead of everything becoming one picture. It’s a way to create the full email in one place while keeping that distinction.
