How to Batch Content Like a Busy Esthetician

How to Batch Content Like a Busy Esthetician (Without Losing Your Mind!)

As an esthetician, juggling client appointments, backbar organization, treatment prep, and marketing can feel overwhelming.

And let's be real, most estheticians didn’t get into this industry to spend hours making Instagram posts.

That’s why content batching is an absolute game-changer. It saves you time, reduces stress, and helps you show up consistently online without sacrificing your client care.

Recently, I batch-filmed 18 Reels in one afternoon (yes, including get-ready time!), and I’m going to show you exactly how you can do the same.

Why Content Batching Is a Secret Weapon for Estheticians

Batching your content isn’t just a cute idea, it’s the only way I’m able to create consistent marketing while running my programs, supporting my clients, and still having a life outside the treatment room.

It’s also why the Esti Content Club (ECC) and Waxers Content Club (WCC) exist:
➡️ To give estheticians and waxers ready-to-use monthly content packs so you can batch, schedule, and roll into the new month feeling fully prepared.

Imagine having a full month’s worth of posts done before the first even hits!

How I Batched 18 Reels in One Afternoon

Here’s exactly what batching looks like for me:

Pro Esthetician Marketing Tip - Make yourself feel hot before filming and it’ll go 10/10 better!

Step 1: Set the Vibe

  • I put my hot rollers in (because feeling good = filming better).

  • I do my makeup and set up my filming space while my hair is setting.

Step 2: Plan for Outfit Variety

  • I lay out 6 shirts ahead of time.

  • I film 4 Reels per shirt for quick outfit changes and a fresh-looking feed.

(Pro Tip:) If you wear scrubs for work, you don’t even need to change outfits! Instead, film in different locations around your treatment room to make your content look varied and professional.

Where to Find Reel Ideas as an Esthetician

You don't need to reinvent the wheel. Here’s where you can pull your video ideas from:

  • The Esti Content Club (ECC) and Waxers Content Club (WCC), Monthly done-for-you ideas so you can watch and copy and re-make yourself + weekly trending audios just for Estheticians and Waxers for both Reels and TikTok

  • Client questions that come up during appointments

  • Comments and FAQs on your social media posts

  • Skincare and waxing industry trends (also provided weekly inside ECC and WCC!)

How to Plan and Capture B-Roll Content

Pro Tip: Always keep a running list of Reel ideas. Jot them down in a Google Doc and plan for 1–3 quick points of value per video.

Then, mix in b-roll footage:

  • Setting up your facial treatment room

  • Organizing your retail skincare shelves

  • Folding towels or preparing wax pots or organizing facial tools

  • Prepping product retail displays

Film short 30-second clips that can be cut into multiple Reels later, giving you even more content without extra work.

Results: 18 Reels Ready in 3 Hours

After 3 hours (including glam time!), I had 18 Reels ready to go, no stress, no scrambling, and plenty of flexibility to take downtime when needed.

Batching gives you breathing room in your business so you can focus on your clients, without ghosting your social media.

Final Tip: Tools That Make Content Batching Even Easier

The Esti Content Club (ECC) and Waxers Content Club (WCC) are designed to be your batching secret weapon.

Inside each monthly content pack, you’ll find:

✨ Done-for-you carousels that drive action
✨ Fresh memes that spark engagement
✨ Strategic visuals you can customize and schedule in minutes

You’ll also get weekly trending Reel and TikTok ideas to keep your page fresh without having to constantly brainstorm or scroll.
